The Ancient Knowledge is a Special weapon introduced in the 24.5.0 update. It can be obtained from the Planet Ethereon Season Pixel Pass.

The Ancient Knowledge is a Special weapon with the unique ability to turn an enemy into a helpless alien (similar to the Witch's Sheep Cauldron) for a few seconds. To offset this otherwise overpowered ability, the projectile it fires is somewhat slow and does no area damage, meaning that only one target can be turned into an alien at a time. Though certainly a funny weapon to use and occasionally get kills with, it is incredibly difficult to use effectively.

Tips[]
- Despite firing rockets and having a visual splash effect, this weapon deals no area damage. You will need to hit an enemy directly in order to do anything.
- Charge this weapon fully in order to make the most of its unique status effect and very limited ammo.
- After turning an enemy into an alien, you don't have to use the Ancient Knowledge to finish them off, and can switch to any other weapon to do so (but doing this won't count towards the season challenge).
Counters[]
- Move unpredictably and do not, under any circumstances, touch the ground. It is much harder to hit a flying target without a hitscan weapon.
- Because this weapon can only damage players turned into Aliens, run away if you (somehow) get hit.
