Not to be confused chests with similar appearances: The Winner Chest and the 18.0.0 Mega Chest. For the weapon see the Veteran.
The Veteran Chest is a special chest introduced in the 21.3.0 update.
Appearance[]
(Old) Like the Winner Chest, it appears as a red and white chest with two orange strips running down the top to the sides of the box paired with two orange grips on the right and left. A large rectangle lock rests on the front of the chests with a black pistol imprinted on it.
(New) The chest is red with with white on the bottom. The chest has a lock with a red skull printed on it.
Use[]
It is used to earn prizes, including Currencies and Weapons. Prior to the 21.4.0 update, rewards depend on the current Super Lottery. After the 21.4.0 update, the Veteran Chest was reworked with new prizes including three weapons exclusive to the Veteran Chest; Project "Red Button", Combat Overlords and the Sentence.
In the 21.5.0 update 3 new weapons were added to the veteran chest. These are the Lives Harvester, the Jet Dragon and the Thermal Ultra Scythe.
In the 22.0.0 update the Veteran's Mark graffiti were added to the veteran chest.
Obtaining[]
Only players at Level 65 can obtain these chests. For every 500 points of XP they obtain, they are rewarded with a chest, respectively.

21.4.0 Update[]

-If the player has already owned Project "Red Button", Combat Overlords, Sentence and Red Skull avatar, they will get:
- 10 Mythical for either the Jet Dragon, Lives Harvester or Thermal Ultra Scythe.
-If the player owns every other weapon and the skin in the chest:
- 8 Mythical for the Veteran's Mark Graffiti.
22.0.0 Update[]
Three of the following items will be received per opening, respectively.

- The Veteran Chest received a massive rework.
- The EXP points needed to open a Veteran chest(which was 1,500 at the time), was reduced to 500 due to numerous complaints from players. In addition, its prizes were also slightly reduced.
