The Gem is a removed pick-up.

Appearance

They were light purple colored and had the shape of a diamond.

Use

In previous updates, there was a collectable called gem that awards the player 1000 points. They were located in hidden places and they were later removed and replaced with Coins.

Trivia

Even after this feature was removed, months later in the 10.6.0 update, Gems, albeit the current premium currency, were reintroduced as pick-ups.
The Gem model could have been used to create the Gem.
