The Hypno-shackles is a Melee weapon introduced in the 24.4.0 update. It can be obtainable from the Mesmerizing Lottery
Description[]
It is a melee Mythical weapon that attacks enemies in a large area and exerts harmful poison on enemies. It usually takes 1-2 hits to kill an enemy.
Appearance[]
Appear to be a shackle with greenish cyan colored chains. Instead of the usual pointers found in a pocket watch, the center is replaced by a vortex resembling the universe, with several splinters of the same material floating near the vortex.
Additionally, when the player holds it, a vortex similar to the one in the watch's center appears on the player's hip. Three shattered parts of an orbit circle around the player, treating them as the center. Three larger chains hang from these orbiting parts, moving with inertia.
When the user attacks, they sweep the chains from left to right. The broken orbit rotates rapidly for a full circle, and the end of the chain is flung out horizontally, leaving a trail as it attacks.
Performance[]
As an AOE (Area Damage) melee weapon, it only has one unique attribute: Poison . This attribute can harm and kill enemies without any additional attachments through debuff.
Its AreaDamage allows you to hit multiple enemies in a single attack and reduces the precision required for aiming.
Generally, Hypno-Shackles doesn't showcase its ability through attributes, but rather through its high total damage. It is a powerful melee weapon.
Strategy[]
Basic Gameplay[]
As its mobility is 75, it's not very suitable for fast movement. (Recommended data is 85 and higher) But its damage output is very high, so using it to attack enemies directly may be better
Tips[]
- Try to hit multiple enemies by timing your attacks instead of using single attacks. This will be more effective.
- The Astral Blade Modules will increase its threat the most, as it's an AOE melee weapon.
Counters[]
- Stay away from users of Shackles and attack them from a longer range.
- If you are playing Knife Party, try to time your attacks and let them attack first before getting close to you. If they fail to hit you, then you can fight back and kill them. This is partially determined by whether the user of Shackles plays well or not.
- Some set will avoid "Poison " like RGB Pioneer set (This link is the melee of this set)
Recommended Maps[]
Small maps will be good for its display
But Knife Party will be the best as it's very easy to get close to enemies and find people crowded together.
