The hat appears to be identical to the top of a black Knight chess piece. However, the eyes are white and black, its rope is golden and it has a dark teal ring.

- Unlike the some hats like the Burning Tiara and the Ruby Helmet in Pixel Gun 3D, these hats are aesthetic, while the normal hats give certain buffs.
- It is one of the 5 chess-themed cosmetic hats. Others being the King's Hat, Pawn's Hat, Queen's Hat and the Rook's Hat.
