The Scorching Split is a Melee weapon introduced in the 24.7.0 update. It can be obtained.

Appearance[]

Base skin:

  • Scorching Split skin (original) has 3 stages of appearance from small change of the appearance to full body effects to chain broke, pulling the second sword from the chest and dual wield.

Curing Split skin:

  • Curing Spirit also has the same mechanics, but slightly different from it is, the skin effect changes from burning heat into water. Compare with the original skins appears as heat up, the curing split turns the red flames texture into water blue and adds up with leaves on its outline.

Performance[]

  • Scorching Split has a decent moving speed, low medium fire rate, decent range, high damage and burn damage.
  • The charge for the weapons super punch does not reset if the player dies, only resets when either the user changes his weapon into other categories or died when the charge is max (which only resets if the player dies with their super punch ready).
  • The super punch does not appear as AOE. In fact, the weapon super punch will have its original weapon range but having an extra range counter (216 instant dmg for range (decreasable depending on the distance), 276 instant for 1 hit counter, dmg does not stack). However, the burning effects will only works on 1 target per super punch, which the mechanic will automatically pick the nearest target in the range. Note: curing split remains 1 hit counter even with the super punch on.
  • The curing split skin heals 14 hp per tick, while the original skin does not.

Strategy[]

  • Compare with other melees like assassin daggers, ban hammer or cashback etc, scorching split does not have good movements nor high fire rate to do multi hits in the field. which the performance of the weapon will be depending on the numbers of the people in fields, the more the people in a group of 5-7m radius, the greater efficiency of the weapon it could perform. However, curing split will be much different as it does not have multi targets counter per super punch, which is more suitable when using it in 1v1 or 1v2 matches (provides greater survivability as it heals).
  • Scorching Split is suitable for 1 vs multi situations, while curing split is suitable for 1v1-1v2 situations, you can change the weapon skins depending on the enemies strategy, usually users may be in separate stand or aoe in field.

Tips[]

  • Aim for the head when the charge is not ready, it deal more dmg
  • Aim for the nearest target, get the super punch as quick as possible.
  • Dying is not a case as the progress of the charge will stays, sometimes dying is even nessessary when enemies are raiding allies base as the count does not resets while having spawn protection and base teleports.
  • Hitting obstacles will gain a charge, which its considerable to hit 2 obstacles before going into the enemy fields. (if the map provides)
  • Use acceleration, astral blade, and magic modules as the setup, it provides bigger super punch range and greater speed boost per kill, which will enhance its efficiency or even cover its weakness (if high mods)

Counters[]

  • Stay separately, it greatly impacts their efficiency, but be aware if they are using the skins.
  • Always stays a distance away from them if in normal matches, do not get close to them, they may 1 shot you if you get too close.
  • Use high mobility weapons or acceleration after killing weapons, as they are not be able to keep up high speeds
  • Quick hit quick slack / hit and slack (H&S) tactic is recommended when deal against the users.
